Who Is This Coach?
My son and "daughter- in- love" are reading Dr. Seuss books to my infant granddaughter. Apparently they are the perfect cadence for impressing speech on babies and promoting early reading. I mentioned to them that I had a Seuss book called, My Book About Me. Did you have one growing up? I LOVED it! This book prompted the young reader to fill in the pages about him/herself and their environment.
How many freckles on your face?
How many stairs in your house?
How many shoelaces on your shoes?
Trace your hand here.
Trace your foot here.
I still have the book, tho it's a bit adulterated.
My younger sister took the liberty of writing and tracing over all of my answers with her own.
Today, that is hilarious to me....at the time I wasn't too happy.
